Tips for your setup
Four things that make playing with Jamsday sound and feel right.
Charge while you play
An audio interface takes its power from the phone and empties the battery fast. Put a USB-C hub with Power Delivery between them — Apple's USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter is one — and plug the charger into it. The interface then draws its power from the charger, not from the phone.
Turn Direct Monitor off
Most interfaces have a Direct Monitor switch or button. With it on you hear your guitar twice: once dry from the interface and once through Jamsday's amp, a little later. Turn it off and you hear only the amp.
Speakers by cable
Connect speakers to the interface's line outputs with a cable. Never use Bluetooth for the guitar: Bluetooth adds a delay you can hear and feel between picking a note and hearing it.
Headphones in the interface
Plug headphones into the interface's headphone output, not into the phone. That way they get the same sound, with the same short delay, as everything else.
